What would I do without......

I have to admit that sometimes I wonder what I would do without certain things in my life, would it make it easier or would I miss the presence of those things around me......

What would I do without a flock of chickens, horses, and dogs to follow me from the house to the barn to the grain shed, to the barn and back to the house, most of the time with the rooster trying to attack me.

What would I do if I did not live in the country, would things be much easier or would I miss the beauty and the quietness....

What would I do if I didn't have a goat that followed me and trapped company in their vehicles and shreds any trees or flowers...
What would I do without being able to have skunks on my sidewalk and deer eating the hay in the horse pastures....

I don't know what I would do, they keep life interesting.....

The Move

Well its been a while and the holidays are finally over. Foaling season is moving up on us very fast. Baby calves are being born all around me. We are moving to a temporary new location in the Big Hole valley and will be taking all the small critters with us but sadly the little horses will have to stay in Twin Bridges as the winter is just too hard on them up there. They would be barried in the snow...... We will be rotating the pregnant mommas out as they get close to foaling and will have most the mares up their until the foals are doing well and we will bring them back down to Twin.

We will be reducing the numbers of all the critters until we move back or get a better set up in the Big Hole. So if you are looking for anything please visit my website and see all the critters that we will be offering.

I will post pictures soon of the beautiful Big Hole valley...

If you are going to get a pet it is a good idea to do all the research you can before you bring it home to make sure that its a right match for your family and situation.

New Job

I just wanted to post that I have just started a great new job were I am working from home so I don't have to move or have anyone else take care of my animals.

I will be performing bookkeeping and accounting services online for a company that is based in Billings MT. This is an actual job, not an Internet scam, for all of those who are leery of the idea of working online. This is a great opportunity for me to continue in the accounting field but still allows me to continue training and raising quality show animals.

Giving a Pet for Christmas

It is getting to be that time of year again when we are starting to really think about what to get people for Christmas. Getting a pet may at first seem like a good idea but you should always do your research and make sure that the pet you are going to introduce to your family is right for your family. When deciding to get a pet for a Christmas present you should consider what is involved in the care, who is really going to be taking care of the new pet after the excitement wears off, and what are the pets requirements to remain healthy and happy.
I have posted a couple links to help start your decision on getting a pet and what is involved in the care. More will be posted soon...
